Long Island Ice Tea on Special...

I write this sitting here with a splitting headache from last night's special at Lagerheads, which was two dollar long island ice teas. It's 6:24 p.m. and my head still hurts somewhat so you can imagine the type of day I've been having. Kudos to the Gold Rush though with their bbq beef and mac and cheese dinner tonight. This is the fourth time that I've attempted to convey a complete thought here. I get a couple paragraphs in, but then I delete what I wrote. Frankly, I don't know where I'm going with this, so bare with me.
First things first, as long as I don't get arrested or fail out of college, I will be enlighening the minds of high school students in Communications. My dad came to the Cal vs. West Chester game yesterday. He said that my PRAXIS II scores were in and I passed. You have no idea how relieved I am. The day I took the test, I left thinking that I failed. Now, I just have to get through 30 more credits of classes (18 this semester) and student teaching. Keep your fingers crossed.
As I said before, college football season kicked off yesterday. Cal opened up against West Chester. Wow, I am very impressed with Cal's offense, especially QB Kevin McCabe and WR Marcel Pestano. Pestano finished the day with eleven receptions and 112 receiving yards. It really looks like the offense is legit, but the defense worries me. The secondary looked a bit leaky as they gave up 32 points. It'll be interesting to see how the season shakes out for Cal.
Speaking of football, my alma mater Albert Gallatin won a game. Yeah, that's something to be hyped about seeing that they have NEVER had a winning season. Yes, literally never a winning season. Usually they'll win one or two games a year. Hopefully their 34-6 win over Wilkinsburg is as legit as Cal's offense. I'm definitely planning to make an appearance in York Run to check out the Colonials.

FINAL THOUGHT: I'm not completely sure what to think. I'm still in shock of AG's 34-6 win. Let's see if they can continue that against Ringgold this Friday. So, I'm sure I'll be writing more that I'm back at school. I'm sure I'll have to vent about something.
